Vanuatu

Vanuatu was great - Port Vila (the capital) reminded me a bit of Asia with all its crazy little shops and messy fruit market, but without the pushy sales people.
View of the bay

Looking out to Iririki Island

The war memorial didn't have many names on, but did have a good view

Our bus ride - any minivan with a number plate starting with B is a bus!

Meeting the locals - I was a bit scared at first
But they were only baby turtles and so cute!

Soaking up the local culture

Fiji

I've been a bit slow to post these photos, but I've finally got it sorted. We all had such a good time in the South Pacific - even though it was raining when we arrived! That soon stopped and the sun came out.  I spent most of my time in Fiji chilling (scuba diving is not a favoured activity of Bears) so I was a very relaxed Bear at the end of the week.
First day in the Islands

Enjoying a cuppa whilst reading the brochures - it all sounds too active for me

This is more like it! A traditional Fijian Lovo (feast)

Enjoying the sunshine and palm trees
That's all for Fiji - next stop Vanuatu!

Hotel rooms

As I mentioned, I quite like hotel rooms. Here's some pictures of me exploring our room in Vietnam.

The room was a bit warm

I like acrobatics, it gives you a new perspective

Hope no one wants a cuppa!

Check out my adventures!

Hi folks! My name is Beechy, I am 21 years old (actually 21, not like '21 again') and I've travelled to a lot of countries with my friend Heather. I've always been happy exploring hotel rooms, but when Heather started travelling with Chris, he thought it was time for me to really experience the sights.

Me reading Lonely Planet in preparation for my first outing

It was so much fun! My first outing was in Vietnam, and soon I get to go to Fiji! I just read my friend Kermit's blog about his travels, and decided that I wanted one too! So here it is, a bear's view on the world. Enjoy!
